Photobook Conversations #1 'Mental Health' pt.4 'Big Brother'

Photobook Conversations - August 23rd 7pm

The first book for the discussion is ‘Big Brother’ by Louis Quail. Published by Dewi Lewis https://www.dewilewis.com/products/big-brother.

Each month, Belfast Photo Factory will select photobooks for discussion. Owning the books is not a prerequisite for attending the discussion group, as we will endeavor to choose books which have images and information available online. We want the book club to be accessible to all and we will have a copy of each book in the studio for the event. Naturally, if you have a copy you are welcome to bring it along.

This August we will be focusing on artists who have created photobooks around the subject of mental health. We have selected three books to show and attendees are welcome to bring other books, which are consistent with the theme, if they wish to include them in the discussion.
Please feel free to familiarise yourself with the work, there is plenty of information online.

We look forward to seeing you for an interesting discussion on August 23rd at 7pm.
